Uconnect® Feature Highlights

The Uconnect® system offers a suite of connectivity and utility features to make your life easier. From entertainment to navigation, your Fort Worth Uconnect® turns errands into adventures. When Uconnect® tech is equipped to your car, truck, or SUV, you can expect to find the following features:

• Audio Options: SiriusXM™, Bluetooth® streaming, and HD Radio™ are all available for you to use with your Uconnect® system. Connect up to ten devices, so everyone can join in on the fun.
• SiriusXM Guardian™ and Uconnect® Access: Remotely start your vehicle, lock/unlock the doors, and even sound the horn from your smartphone. You can even locate your vehicle and even send directions from your phone straight to your Uconnect® system.
• Available 4G Wi-Fi®: The built-in Wi-Fi® allows you to browse the internet, check your email, and more from up to 50 feet away.
• Voice-Command: Make calls, reply to text messages, set up navigation, select music, and more, all without taking your hands off the wheel with Uconnect® integrated voice command.
• Navigation: Uconnect® systems with navigation benefit from 3-D generated maps with turn-by-turn navigation. They also include SiriusXM® Traffic Plus and Travel Link, which give you live weather and Prosper traffic reports.
• Entertainment: In the most family-focused Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram models, available Uconnect® Theater offers passengers dual 10-inch touchscreens for movies, gaming, and anything in between! Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ also allow for seamless streaming.

Can You Turn Uconnect® Off?

While the Uconnect® system is always on when your vehicle is on, you can turn off or mute certain parts of the system if you’d like. The radio and corresponding screen may be shut off. You can also turn off text message alerts through voice commands. Simply hit the “Phone” button, say “setup, incoming SMS message announcement” and reply “Yes”. The system asks if you’d like to turn off notifications. 

So, while you can turn off certain features of the Uconnect® infotainment system, the entire unit itself cannot be turned off. However, we suggest you peruse all your settings to ensure everything is configured to your liking.
